The Logan school board adopted a $1,922,047 general fund budget for 1970 after amendments. The plan shows $765,936 in local real estate taxes and $199,656 from personal property, with $738,280 from the state foundation program.
The Air Force disclosed a wing crack occurred during ground static tests on a C5A air frame minus tail assembly at Lockheed Georgia in Marietta Georgia. The break happened under pressures 128 percent of the design load limit while the nose and tail were restrained.
