Tragic Drowning at Lake Logan Beach
Angela Marie McCarty, 3, of Huntington W V, drowned at Lake Logan while visiting with family on a hot Thursday afternoon. Her body was found in five feet of water by Christina Swisher, 10, and pronounced dead at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. The Sheriff’s Department recovered the body and it was taken to Frank E Smith Funeral Home in Lancaster.
