Violence disrupts Klan rally at Ohio Statehouse
At the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus on Monday, Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard Dale R. Reusch failed to speak as about 300 protesters clashed with roughly 20 Klan supporters. Reusch and a TV cameraman were injured, eggs and irritant sprayed, and two sides traded accusations until authorities arrested three and charged George F. Preston with inciting violence.

Two Adults and Six Juveniles Face Delinquency Charges
Helen Mikula and Richard Mikula of 456 E Hunter Sr are jailed in Hocking County on charges of contributing to the delinquency of minors. Six juveniles aged 12 to 15 are charged with delinquency in a burglary and stolen property case. Police report an ongoing investigation and possible further arrests. The Mikulas were arrested Saturday afternoon.

Elmer Bowles aged 46 of Pomeroy Rt 4 was bound over to the grand jury on a grand theft charge at a Hocking County Court preliminary hearing Friday. He is accused in the May 13 theft of a portable light plant first aid kit and two water pumps owned by CAB Coal Co. Bowles remained jailed on bond.
