Rev Charles W Brashares of Ann Arbor Michigan has been named a Methodist bishop in Minneapolis after serving since 1943 at First Church of Ann Arbor. Brashares is 53 and a son of the late Rev Mark Brashares. He was born in Williamsport Pickaway County in 1891 and is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and Boston University school of theology. His first pastorate was in Gorham Maine, followed by Newton Massachusetts and Dayton Ohio.

ZANESVILLE, July 6. A chair-plane ride at Moxahala Park overturned while operating injuring eight passengers. Tim Nolan, park manager, said the device spins riders in chairs attached to a central pole by chains and toppled as it began to move. Twelve riders fell six feet. eight were cut and bruised, others unharmed.
