Parade Highlights Bicentennial Parade And Holiday at Home
The Bicentennial Parade moves through downtown Logan at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with about 70 units, three bands and floats. The Holiday at Home at the Hocking County Fairgrounds runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with games, contests, crafts fair, and fireworks at 10 p.m. Admission is 25 cents most of the day, rising after 7 p.m. to 50 cents for adults.

GE Workers Reject Offer at Logan Glass Plant
Local 1017 of the American Flint Glass Workers union rejected GE’s three year contract offer for the Logan Glass Plant. The agreement expires at midnight July 7. No further talks are planned, a union spokesman said.
