Tourist Home Blaze Reported at Terrel Hotel

City firemen and volunteers responded at 12 10 p m to a general alarm at the Terrel Tourist Home at Main and Walnut Streets where a worker started a fire in a bathroom trying to thaw water pipes with a blow torch. Firemen extinguished the blaze with a booster hose. Damage described as negligible by Fire Chief Robert Courter.
