Council Approves East End Street Improvement Project

City council approved the East End street upgrade north of Front Street and east of the C and O tracks. The plan covers Main Street from Homer to Norwood, Second Street to Norwood, Norwood from Front to north of Main, Arlington to north of Main, and Homer to Pottery. Improvements include drainage paving curbs sidewalks and storm sewers.

Goodyear Starts Move to New East Gate Offices

Goodyear today began moving its offices from the temporary plant in the county highway building to the new plant in the East Gate industrial park. An inspector from Chicago Pump Co arrived Tuesday to approve the sewer lift station, and Ohio Power Co completed electrical hookups, linking the plant to the Rt. 33 sewer line.

Mothers Collect $1100 For 1964 March Of Dimes

West Logan Sewer Project Assessment Notices Mailed
