Ice Storm Misses Part of Hocking County
Freezing rain made driving hazardous in western and northern Hocking County while Logan and other areas escaped. The State Highway Patrol investigated 19 accidents in the Hocking Valley, all blamed on ice glare. Roads treated as temperatures rose and non freezing rain melted most ice by noon. The Lancaster post reported ice froze as fast as it hit the pavement slowing traffic.
