Mayor Fines Six Drivers Friday Night

City police cited six drivers on Front St Friday night under Mayor Francis Myers. Blaine Sapp 19 of Columbus was fined for passing without an assured clear distance. City Police Report Three Crashes Friday

City police logged three more accidents Friday raising January total to 28 in 27 days. At 11:45 a.m. two cars collided near the Warner Avenue Fountain Street Church Hunter Street intersection, heavily damaging one vehicle and injuring Rodney H. Wilson and a passenger Albert Blick. A second collision at Market Street involved Richard Neloce with minor damage and injuries or complications not specified. A third two car crash at Culver and Front Streets involved Irvin Chilcote and Les Kelly with moderate damage.
