The Ohio Fuel Gas Co serving Logan and half Ohio urged immediate shutdown of theaters lodges recreation and drinking venues schools and churches using gas for heat. It asked beer and liquor venues not selling food to close at once and other diners to limit heat after 8 pm. If uncooperative, the company will seek an emergency order from the Ohio Public Utilities Commission. Water heaters will be shut off and homes and businesses should heat to 65 degrees where gas is necessary. The firm has exhausted its propane supplies and will deplete Mt Sterling and Perrysburg plants.
