Yellow Springs Ohio January 21 AP An Antioch College biologist said cattle and people need vitamins and urged continued testing of a dry ice preserved alfalfa. A biology department analyst directed tests on alfalfa samples near here and noted the dry ice method developed by Ohio State University professor Oscar Erf kept rich coloring matter but reduced carotene responsible for vitamin A in milk.

Son Born To Widow Of Crash Victim
A son was born shortly after midnight today to Mrs. F. J. Elder at her home on Gallagher Ave. Both mother and child are reported fine. Mrs. Elder is the widow of Ferdinand J. Elder, A. & P. store manager, who died last Thursday when his car crashed into a tree on Route 31 near Enterprise.
