Valley Snow Drifts Across Hocking Valley With Ice and Accidents
The Hocking Valley woke to a two inch snow cover as city county and state crews plowed and salted. One minor cruiser incident occurred on icy Warner Avenue and 10 people were rescued from an ice floe near Port Clinton. Snow extended across Ohio with accidents on I-75 near Cincinnati and varying totals from two to four inches in the northeast.

The Logan Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual dinner at 6 30 p m Thursday in the Logan Armory with more than 150 expected. Richard Hall is named 1976 president and Herschel Bensenhaver becomes vice president. Officers, directors and new division chairs will be introduced along with a Bicentennial Community Chorus performance and a check presentation to the Hocking County Historical Society. GE Plans to Drill Gas Wells for Local Fuel Supply
