Four Hundred Plus Hikers Endure Mud Rain on Buckeye Trail
More than 500 hikers completed a six mile Buckeye Trail run through Hocking Hills State Park despite ongoing rain. The rugged course featured two to six inch mud and icy rock sections in Queer Creek gorge with a few falls but no serious injuries. Participants ranged from 8 to 80 and came from across Ohio, as waterfalls swelled and ice formations lingered.
