U N Council Censures Israel For Violations

The United Nations Security Council adopted a Western sponsored resolution condemning the December 11 Israeli attack on Syrian outposts near the Sea of Galilee. It warned of possible further measures under the UN Charter if Israel continues aggression. The vote was unanimous with Abba Ebannan denouncing retaliation claims amid Syrian shelling. Fifty six Syrians and six Israelis were reported killed.

Five States Join Search for Mad Dog Killer

Snow brings relief for farmers across Ohio

Ohio and the eastern half of the nation woke to a heavy snowfall from a Southwest developing storm. Farmers welcomed the moisture for parched lands while city residents faced slick highways and travel advisories.
