Miss Elsa Jenert former Logan resident and school teacher died Saturday in Peru Indiana after a long illness. She had been bed fast for two years. A Logan native she taught in Logan schools after graduating from Logan High School. Funeral services are set for 2 PM Tuesday in Peru with burial there. Survived by sister Hilda of Cincinnati.

Three Burglaries Reported in Logan Weekend
Police Chief Sol Ellinger said three burglaries netted about 75 dollars in Logan over the weekend. Shonk’s 69 South Market Street office, intruders broke a rear window. about four dollars in change was taken from a box. Sheriff Floyd Duffy assisted in the case.
