Sharb's Market at the junction of Routes 33 and 595 was burglarized early today. Articles valued at 700 to 800 dollars were taken including 110 cartons of cigarettes a portable television portable radio stereo record player binoculars and six albums. Entry was gained by prying the back door. Deputy checked the scene at 1 07 a.m. and found all secure at that time.

Friday Black Day for Logon Motorists Crashes
Five crashes investigated by Logan city police Friday left two injured and five cited. The most severe collision occurred at Mulberry and Second streets when Marie Denham failed to stop for a red light and crashed into Ambrose Schrader's car, then into a parked pickup and Dr. F. W. Blume's office. Denham was treated for chest pain and cited for running a red light. Emmitt R. Thompson was arrested for drunken driving after rear ending a truck on West Hunter Street. Arthur Flowers sustained a forehead injury and the Thompson car was totaled. James A. Acker, Clarence Stage, James W. Wilson and others received minor citations for backing, yielding, or stop-sign violations. Ruth Shull hospital admission followed a slide on Old McArthur Road. Continued on Page 8.
