Loudenville Water Illness Eases After Chlorinator Break
About 1,000 residents in Loudonville Ashland County fell ill with gastro intestinal symptoms from a contaminated water supply. Health director John D Porterfield said the outbreak peaked a week ago and is now easing as a chlorination fix and possible sewer contamination are investigated. No deaths were reported and illnesses affected many schoolchildren and workers at the Flexible Company.
