Baby Born Four Minutes After Mother's Death
In Abingdon Virginia on January 11 a caesarian delivered a four pound four ounce boy just after his mother, Mrs Elmer Widner of Denton s Valley, died during treatment for circulatory and kidney ailments. Dr Hayter, Dr Cole Jr and the nurse saved the infant with a quick operation and oxygen. The hospital reported the baby alive and crying while the mother had been dead four minutes.
