Blended Whiskey Drops From Ration List in Ohio
In Columbus on January 10 the State Department of Liquor Control removed blended whiskey along with gin brandy rum and cordials from ration control. The ration allotment for the remaining period through January 25 was halved. Acting Director A S Balmett cited enough supply of 31 blended brands as the reason for removal. Some bottled in bond straight blends Canadian and imported whiskies remain rationed.
