Route 31 Project May Cost Near 400000
Boyd Wright of Hocking County state highway says the $302,500 allotted yesterday for Route 31 from Jurgensmier Hill to the new highway north of Enterprise does not cover the new bridge over the Hocking River or the C and O Railroad crossing. Bridge work will be funded later under the federal railway crossing program, adding $85,000 to $100,000 to the total. The project will cost about $400,000 with half the funds from federal aid and half from the state.
