Four Teens Die in Dayton Car Train Crash
Four teenage occupants died when a car carrying Irene Heart 15 Joan Calahan 13 Aaron Stevens 16 and Sandra York 16 failed to clear a railroad crossing near Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton. Heifers Die In Van Wert Livestock Barn Fire
A livestock facility comprising three buildings owned by Earl Moser near Van Wert Ohio was destroyed by fire early today. 197 four month old heifers perished. Fire Destroys Scott Home In Ward Two
A five room frame residence belonging to Joe Scott on Car bon Hill Rd in Ward Two was lost with its contents in a blaze at 2 20 p m. The Nelsonville Fire Department could not save the structure. Scott, from Columbus, was en route to work when the fire started. His wife saved their two and a half year old child as flames spread. The couple also has a six year old child. City Firemen Battle Blaze At Oil Well
City firemen were called out at 12 30 a m to fight an oil well blaze on the Robert Bartholemew farm off Route 664N. The well owned by Hall Bros in Falls Two Section 3 North, lit skyward and drew motorists who reported the glow miles away. The fire, started under a storage tank, was brought under control after about an hour using water and foam extinguishers.

Train derailment kills at least 25 near Monza Italy
