Plant manager Robert Gosnell presented jewelry. a bronze plaque honored the late B G Greenman. A total of 49 attended the event including supervisors and pensioners.

Auto Crash Investigated Near Logan
Hocking sheriff's deputies investigated an auto accident on Route 93 two miles north of Logan around 3 15 p m Monday. William J Steph en 53 New Straitsville Route 1 was turning into a driveway when an oncoming car approached a hill and struck a tree. Cecil J Davis 23 Newport News Virginia reported injuries but received no treatment.

Lebanon Escapees Face Manhunt After Prison Break
Two inmates, William Myers 20 and Robert Barrett 26, fled Monday from the Lebanon Correctional Institute main complex. Myers is jailed for armed robbery from Greene County and Barrett for assault with intent to rape from Hamilton County.

Heart Fund Drive Nets Over $3000 for Hocking County
The Heart Fund drive in Hocking County so far totals about $3000 with Logan seeing $1400. The 18 hour WLGN radiothon brought in $127 in pledges and $150 was raised by LHS Key Club members selling balloons. FOE Logan Aerie 2168 reported $360, with $138 from a Post a Donation campaign and $90 from an auction. Additional gifts and later tallies will be reported once all figures are compiled.
