Six Good Hope Youths Placed on Probation
Juvenile Court hearings led to probation for six Good Hope youths accused of vandalism truancy and car theft. Three 16 year olds from Rockbridge High School were ordered to monthly reports with one barred from driving for 60 days and another from driving or obtaining a license for 60 days. The trio allegedly rode hockey and caused damage and near pedestrian collision. Three younger boys aged 12 14 and 16 faced vandalism citations around Rockbridge school and church with one later cleared. All three older youths were assigned weekly probation checks and required to work a day for the general contractor to repay damages and cover window repairs. They also faced property damage actions including roofing tacks kerosene drum tampering and tar throwing at a school and church.
