Logan Post No 78 of the American Legion voted to ask the Common Pleas Court to dissolve the county war chest fund. The fund, raised by a population subscription during the World War, is about 20 000 dollars and held as a trust with five trustees. Income supported rehabilitation and child welfare in Logan Laurelville and Murray City. Funds in US Government bonds are being called and if dissolved the balance would be prorated among the three posts with Logan receiving about 48 percent.
