Prosecutor Fred Murray files a first degree murder charge against Robert Hartshorn of Laurelville Rt. 1 for the Tuesday evening killing of his brother Lloyd Hartshorn on Stump Run Rd. Lloyd, father of three, was killed after a dispute over money. Robert admitted the shooting, claiming Lloyd threatened him with an ax during a scuffle at their father's home. Man Accused Of Attempted Rape Hero
George D. Schrenk 34 of Lancaster was arrested at 1 30 am today on assault with intent to rape after a Logan woman identified him as her attacker. He was nabbed at his Lancaster home by Logan and Lancaster police. The woman, who reported the assault to police, said she was followed from a bar to an alley where she was grabbed and thrown to the ground. Her husband, who heard her screams, tried to help as the suspect fled in a light colored convertible. A hearing was expected this afternoon in May or Joseph Phillips' court.
