Turner Construction named for Hocking Technical College expansion
Turner Construction Co. of New York City is the construction manager for a 3.5 million dollar second-phase expansion at Hocking Technical College in Nelsonville. The project adds a 37000 square foot classroom laboratory, a 10000 square foot vocational building, a 12000 square foot gym, plus parking and site work. Completion is planned for early 1977. The venture is with John W. Galbreath & Co. Kellam & Foley Architects & Planners designed the project. Turner has built nearly 30 projects in Columbus area, and also operates offices across the country and in Hong Kong and Singapore. Barton S. Holl, reappointed to the college board by Gov. Rhodes, is a Logan Clay products executive. Additional technical college trustees were named.
