Rhodes approves emergency bill creating three new Ohio courts
Gov. Rhodes signed an immediate effect omnibus measure adding three countywide municipal courts in Crawford Hocking and Jackson counties with new judgeships. The bill also expands Miami County Municipal Court territory to Bradford and moves Lodi to Wadsworth jurisdiction. Logan City School Board approved teacher handbooks for elementary and secondary staff tuition for out of district students lunch prices and kindergarten entrance age for the 1977 78 term. The district adopts 5 year old by Jan 1 kindergarten eligibility with tests and space, and three new curriculum guides. It also employed a home tutor at 6.25 per hour up to five hours weekly and approved advancing 200 000 from the county auditor to cover bills and payroll with a transfer of 386.77 from Title III NDEA funds.
