21 year old graduate of Colorado State College To Wed Olympic ace Charlotte Edwards in a ceremony to be held after Glenn Morris returns from Europe. Morris, a Denver automobile salesman and Berlin decathlon champion, met Edwards while he studied in Colorado.
San Diego, August 21 AP Three navy destroyers searched the Pacific after reports the S S San Joaquin sank with its crew taking to lifeboats. They found no trace 560 miles west of Guadalupe Island as Commander Edward C. Raguet reported no contact and the scouting line extended.
