Three-Year-Old Entangled in Wire Fence Found
In Zanesville Ohio on August 6 a three-year-old boy named Jerry Huffman was found naked and nearly unconscious, entangled in a wire fence near his home near Philo after his collie Laddie led searchers to him. He had disappeared between 6 and 7 P M the previous day. He was rescued by his father Dan Huffman and neighbor Charles Wickham and rushed to Bethesda Hospital in a 55 degree morning. Over 200 Philo residents joined a multi-hour search aided by a volunteer posse and fire alarm calls by Mayor Roy Villey.
