Honolulu AP Nixon, the Republican presidential nominee, said he will serve as a personal foreign policy chief if elected. Monday Creek Bids Transfer to Logan School District

Monday Creek residents seek to move to the Logan city school district via a November ballot question. The Perry County Board of Education approved placing the transfer on the ballot for about 100 of 140 qualified voters in Maxville area. The move would affect 40 to 45 pupils currently attending New Straitsville schools and make Monday Creek the first area outside Hocking County in the Logan district.

Six Ton Concrete Prank Lands In Denver Car

Ohio natural resource land plan aims for 75 million action

Safety Lane Check Promoted By Local Youth and Police

Over 100 cars passed through a safety lane check in Logan by noon conducted by the Hocking County Junior Leadership 4-H Club and to be handed by the Logan Jaycees. Police Chief Roy Reich stressed its importance noting 11 of 89 city accidents this year were from faulty equipment and 18 people were injured.
