Hocking County voters face seven party nomination races and two ballot questions in the May primary. Voters will choose central committeemen, decide the West Hocking transfer to Berne Union school district, and approve a 7 mill Levy for Nelsonville-York schools. Tests Set For School Custodians In Logan City
Civil service tests to form an eligibility list for Logan City schools will be held in the music room of Logan junior high at 7 p.m. Thursday. Harold Smith notes three substitute custodians are now employed at the high school East elementary and Green elementary. Starting pay is 1.97 per hour for a 40 hour week with compensatory time for the next two hours and time and a half for overtime beyond 42 hours. Starting next February overtime over 40 hours also pays time and a half. Applicants must have good moral character. Custodians receive 15 days sick leave and one personal day per year, seven paid holidays, and two weeks' paid vacation after the first year.

Paris Heart Transplant Patient Dies After Long Surgery
