Farm Prices and Costs Rise in Latest Report
The Agriculture Department reports farm prices rose two thirds of one percent from mid-March to mid-April. Prices of several trucks, corn, potatoes, lambs, sheep and beef cattle increased while dairy products hogs veal calves chickens small grains and other commodities fell. Bundesen a newspaper columnist and former Chicago health commissioner during an investigation of the horse meat scandal.
