Services Set For Vietnam War Victim Richard Anders
Funeral services are set for Pte. Richard Anders 23 Nelsonville who died Easter Sunday from wounds at Khe Sanh Vietnam. The Rev. Richard Nelson will officiate. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery with Athens ROTC military rites. Body arrives in Columbus tonight accompanied by Sgt. William Pearsall. He is survived by his mother Frances Gettle Kesterson and step father John, his father Russell Anders of Glouster, and a three year old daughter Tia of Buchtel. He enlisted in 1967 and had served six weeks in Vietnam.
