Judge Meyer Sentences Three in Court Friday
Judge Harley Meyer sentenced three men in the Friday session on indictments from the Hocking County grand jury. Harley Crago 33 pled guilty to failing to provide for a minor child and was sent to the Ohio Penitentiary. Franklin Hedges 18 pled guilty to forgery and received the Ohio Reformatory at Mansfield. Ralph Van Bibber 24 pled guilty to burglary of an uninhabited dwelling and was sent to the Ohio Reformatory. William Riffel 37 was placed on three years probation after pleading guilty to burglary. William Allan Hull pleaded not guilty to shooting with intent to wound and was held on $1,000 bond. Two additional defendants will be arraigned later.
