Holy Week events span Palm Sunday to Easter across Logan and Hocking County churches. Good Friday services at Logan EUB Church feature five area ministers and are broadcast on WLGN FM. Hospital Corpsman First Class Jerry Bachus of Logan has been selected for the Cincinnati Reds opening day color guard. The game was moved from Monday to Wednesday due to Dr. Martin Luther King’s assassination. Bachus is a Vietnam veteran with the Purple Heart and Presidential Unit Citation.
