A church bell has been erected at St John s. On Saturday May 19 Harry Pick of Northminster married Florence Tucker of Notam England. The steel for the construction of the bridge across the Battle River is in town awaiting shipment.
In an evening of play at a Lash burn and miveter club room, locals staged a 4 to 4 draw. Notable results include R J Fite 4 and A V Linde 2, while several players won one game each. The Quen Club committee and G C Beott earned thanks for the venue and refreshments.

A Dairy Cow Testing Demonstration will be part of the Saskatchewan fair's feature program. Cows from the Lloydminster district enter on grounds for 24 hours milk to be sampled for butterfat testing. Prizes of 15, 9, and 6 dollars awarded to top butterfat producers. Judges include A. M. Maynard, Rev., and E. Thomas, with $10 donated toward prizes.
