Austin Texas May 10 Texas Highway Commissioner Harry Hines told the Stephenville Wild Flower Show that Texas leads in native wildflower production with over 5000 species and that highway maintenance now avoids mowing till bloom and seeds mature. He urged public conservation, cited erosion control value, and noted 75 000 visitors to 30 shows last year.
