Edyth Krauskopf lays plans for the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce banquet to be held June 24 at 7 30 p m in the Hotel Nimitz ballroom. Texas Attorney General William McGraw will give the main address and Sidney Lanier Senior School students from San Antonio will perform under R H Brewer. Out of town chamber presidents and managers from Austin San Antonio Liano Mason Kerrville New Braunfels and Brady are invited to attend.

Mason Pioneer Margaret Bast Dies in Mason
Mrs. Margaret Bast died Wednesday morning at her home in the Grossville community county. She would have been 81 in September 27 this year having been born September 27, 1838 in Bruchsall Germany. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 from the Mason Methodist Episcopal church with Rev Schmidt officiating and interment in the family cemetery. Bast had been a church member since age 17. She came to America with her parents in 1853.
