Seeded Hubam Clover Boosts Llano County Pond Slope
Clayton Stribling sowed Hubam clover on a pond dam in fall. The cover now grows on the top and slopes, reducing erosion and offering forage for wildlife and firestock. The grass begins near March 16 and yields a sea crop by September or October. County ASC outreach encourages coordinators to start deferring fog on pasture in June and contact the ASC office for share benefits.
