Houser family reunion at Fountain Park notes poor weather
In St Clair Pa Miss Sarah Smith and her sister visited Miss Frances Trostle. Threatening skies reduced attendance at the Houser family reunion in Fountain Park but those present enjoyed a pleasant time. Harvest home services were led by Rev R E B Schantz at the Lutheran church with a fruit and vegetable display and a large cannel fruit donation for Loysville Orphans Home. The Firemen carnival is set to succeed despite showers last Thursday that dispersed the crowd and cut receipts. S Miner of Denver bought several heavy draft horses locally. Miss Sallie Lauser entered Millersville State Normal School last week. her sister Ida, a graduate, returned home the same evening.
