Six days after an auto crash near Zartman’s Mill, Miss Katherine Light 21 died in Good Samaritan Hospital Lebanon. The junior chautauqua boosters stage a play Polly Low in the auditorium at 8 PM with coach Miss Ruth Fisher of Lancaster guiding the cast. The high school orchestra will perform latest hits during the event. A flag replacement by the Independent Order of Almexi cans replaces the old flag pole, now white painted and built for durability.

Bath costs $30 and larceny case at the Y
