Raid on Brunnerville Farm Seizes Liquor Mash and Jugs
State Trooper from Manheim barracks aided by Warwick county detectives raided Aaron Burkholder’s farm near Brunnerville. Officers confiscated two gallons of whiskey 10 vases of illegal beer and 40 gallons of mash. Mrs Burkholder allegedly sold liquor to a customer and broke two whiskey jugs. Both Burkholders charged with manufacture possession and sale of intoxicants before Alderman David Trapnell.

Installed Officers of Ladies' Auxiliary
Mrs. Sterner a district officer from Coatesville installed the recently elected officers of the Ladies Auxiliary to Garden Spot Post 56 American Legion at the Legion headquarters on Broad Street.
