Israel Mearig of Lititz driving a Chevrolet coupe collided with Ralph Binkley of Neffsville in a Jordan touring car at Lititz square on Saturday night. Mearig was traveling up East Main street and Binkley was traveling north. Both cars were badly damaged but the occupants were not injured.

Pole Strike Dents Car in Lexington Incident

Barn Fire at Risser Farm Destroys Barn and Livestock
Fire at the Risser farm in the borough destroyed an 1818 brick barn and 30 by 46 foot tobacco shed. Three mules, two horses, a pony and three cows perished, ten steers were saved. Loss estimated between 15000 and 20000 dollars. The blaze, discovered after nine, gutted the structure as neighbors arrived too late to save the animals or implements.
