Buch Celebrates 98th Birthday at York Prayer Event
J B Buch of York attended a 4 service prayer meeting led by Rev Baker in York last Thursday. About 800 people heard Buch speak as he greeted many attendees. Baker highlighted originality in prayer and featured the oldest person and other unusual elements. Buch, in white vest and frock coat, claimed he turned 98, a claim York residents accepted due to Baker’s reputation for truthfulness.

Halloween Parties Reflect Local Social Scene

The Lititz Evangelistic Association led by Harry Wertach will launch a five week tabernacle campaign starting Sunday at 2 PM with Evangelist Chas E Neighbour taking charge. Meetings run nightly except Mondays, with services 7 48 PM weekdays and 2 PM and 7 PM Sundays.
