Ephrata Big 5 defeated Lititz A C 40 to 32 Sunday afternoon on the Tie court at Dixitz. Ephrata’s player Lititz Dorvemug scored six field goals and one foul goal to pace the win.
Failing stamp thefts in 1886 used stamps gummed on the printed side of semi transparent paper. The stamps were treated so that any attempt to remove them would peel the paper away with the stamp design remaining on the envelope, effectively transferring the image.

A line of household goods was sold during the afternoon on the premises. Auctioneer I. N. Redman of Neilsville conducted the sale.

A Saturday evening birthday party honored Mrs. Todd at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford M. Todd. Music came from the Siefert Family and Ellen B. Tuandis, with refreshments for numerous relatives and friends from Manheim Penryn Lancaster East Petersburg and Fruitville Pike areas.
