Common Battery Exchange Opens by Denver and Ephrata TELCo
The Denver and Ephrata Telephone and Telegraph Company opened its new Common Battery Exchange on Sunday at 9 00 A M June 19 1927. The ceremony highlighted equipment and the Board of Directors and staff including Lititz operators. The firm thanks Lititz residents for cooperation during Bell and Penn State System unifications and the magneto to common battery transition. New telephone directories will be distributed soon to aid the public and operators.
