Lebanon Youths Scared by Night Watchman
Two Lebanon youths attempted mischief Monday morning and were driven from a restaurant by night watchman Jacob Singley. At 4 30 pm he spotted them on Lincoln Avenue tampering with an auto. They fled, one was caught and jailed. the other escaped. The youths Burham Kimes of 1004 Walnut Street and Raymond Light of 16 South 1th Street Lebanon faced police action. Light claimed he will graduate Lebanon High School this week.

Pet raccoon bite sends man to hospital for treatment
A. W. Lane of Clay was bitten on the sight arm by a pet raccoon while cleaning its pen. He was admitted to Lancaster General Hospital for blood poisoning and underwent two operations to drain the poison. Lane shows steady improvement at home. Dr J. L. Hertz is the attending physician. Raccoons can be tremely tame yet treacherous.
