The Lititz Manheim and Ephrata Gas Company has changed hands again. New owners, unnamed but with strong financial backing, will keep the former name and appoint W. S. Aldridge as general manager. After plant closure, Lititz and Manheim were without gas until new management began repairs and gas supply. Rates to take effect February 1.

Horses Die and Are Shot After Mishaps in Two Counties
A Brunnerville horse owner lost a speed trotter to a kidney stroke on Tuesday. Nearby near Rothaville a horse owned by Peter Buch collapsed from exhaustion or a stroke and was shot after failed revival attempts. Rothsville resident Christ Leeking also had to have a horse shot after it was kicked breaking its leg. In Lititz a shoe sale cut prices to clear stock with half hearted odds and ends being offered this Saturday at Lititz Clothing and Shoe Store.
