Lectures At Catholic Church Draw Wide Town Attendance
A series of lectures at the Catholic Church runs from Sunday to next Sunday drawing diverse town audiences. Tuesday’s speakers discussed The Christian Home with practical guidance on courtship, marriage, and parenting. Women were urged to avoid provoking husbands, and talks promise further engaging topics with special evening singing. Lectures begin at 7 30 p m and the public is invited.
Kassel Hill Beys Build Airmobile Inks Test Run
The Sensenich brothers of Kassel Hill built an airmobile driven by an 80 HP motor reaching 1200 RPM. At 600 RPM the vehicle moves, speed controlled by propeller settings. It features shock absorbing wheels with a twelve inch wheelbase, a six foot width, airplane style body, and wire-braced frame. It promises 60 miles per hour on wood roads and up to 106 on ice with runners, carrying four passengers.

Trap Factory Sells to Local Group With Safe Works Pending
In Lititz a trap factory, long run by the Oneida Community through the J M Mast Co and Animal Trap Co, is sold to local investors C E Marble Chester M Woolworth and F C Dengate. Possession to be taken January 25 as part of localization of Oneida interests. The deal preserves the industry with about 190 payroll, with plans to add more products. Also reported are Lititz basketball events against Mt Penn of Reading and the Keystone Gas and Auto Co receivership refinanced in federal court.

Former Lititz pastor shifts to Presbyterian church
Rev. William K. Vleck has resigned as pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Parkside Camden to become pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Daretown New Jersey. The Daretown congregation gave a unanimous invitation last week. Fleck has been in Camden since 1921 coming from St. Paul’s Lutheran Lititz now leading one of South Jersey’s flourishing Presbyterian churches.
