The death of Henry F. Miller aged 51 years occurs at Lancaster County Hospital after years of illness. Born in Lexington, he leaves wife Addie Kling Miller and children Ella, Charles, Paul, Irvin, Harry, Roy in France with the Army, and daughters Mrs Morris Fry and Mrs Menno Carpenter. Lititz residents were stunned by the death of Phares W Bollinger at Lancaster General Hospital at 1 30 PM Monday after a week of illness and an operation for gallstones. Born in Warwick township he lived in Brickerville and Lititz much of his life and worked at a creamery and railroad freight station. He weighed over 300 pounds and was 42 years old. Survived by his mother Mrs William Heil wife Lizzie Whitmyer and daughter Beulah. Funeral services were held at the house and Ephrata Church of the Brethren with interment in Bowman's Cemetery Ephrata.

A Civil War veteran, he worked as a cooper and cigar maker. Survived by wife Sarah Nessinger, daughter Lizzie Steiner of Akron, son Oscar Hackman of Ephrata, a sister Mahala Dunkel and brothers Charles and Henry. Funeral was held Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Brickerville with Rev. Amos Martin officiating.
